ZTE 5G CPE routers are widely used mobile broadband devices. Most models — including the ZTE MC801A, MC888, MU5001, and G5 series — can be accessed through the 192.168.0.1 login page for setup and configuration. This guide explains how to log in to your ZTE 5G router and configure your WiFi settings.

ZTE 5G Router Login Address

Most ZTE 5G CPE routers use the following default login addresses:

Login URL: http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1

Some models also support local addresses such as http://ztedevice.com or http://zte.home to access the router admin page.

Check the label on the back or bottom of your router. Look for “Login IP,” “Web UI Address,” or “Management Address.” The value shown there is your actual router login address, such as 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, or zte.home.

The label also shows the default WiFi name (SSID), WiFi password (WiFi Key), and admin login details. On some models, the default username is admin, and the password may be admin or a device-specific password printed on the label.

2. Open your phone or computer’s WiFi settings and connect to the default network (usually named ZTE_XXXXXX). Enter the WiFi password printed on the router label. If you are using a computer, you can also connect it directly to the router’s LAN port using an Ethernet cable.

3. Once connected, open a browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, then press Enter.

Make sure you enter it in the address bar, not the search box. Watch out for typos like 192.168.o.1, 192 l 168.0 1, or 192.168.0.1.1 — otherwise the router login page may not load.

4. If this is your first time logging in, the Setup Wizard will appear and walk you through setting up your WiFi name, password, and basic network settings.

If you see the login page instead, the router has already been set up. Log in using the admin password to continue.
