Portable Wi-Fi: How to Log In and Modify Password – Complete Guide

To modify the password of your portable Wi-Fi, you’ll need to log into the device’s admin interface. Instructions are typically provided in the user manual that comes with your device. But if you’ve misplaced it, don’t worry — this general guide will walk you through the process.

The information required to access the admin dashboard — such as the login address, username, and password — is usually printed on the device itself.

Step-by-Step Guide to Modifying Wi-Fi Password:

1. Power on your portable Wi-Fi and connect your computer (or phone) to its hotspot — for example, something like MIFI-XXXX.

2. Open a browser on your computer or phone and enter the admin address into the address bar. In this example, we’ll use 192.168.100.1.

3. On the login page, enter your username and password, then click “Login.”

4. Once logged in, you'll be taken to the portable Wi-Fi's admin dashboard.

5. Click on “Wireless” to view the current Wi-Fi name and password. Here, you can modify both fields. After making your changes, click “Apply” to save them.
