Follow these steps to successfully log in to your Xiaomi router’s admin panel:
1. Connect to your Xiaomi router network
First, make sure your phone or computer is connected to your Xiaomi router’s Wi-Fi. If using a wired connection, plug your computer directly into one of the router’s LAN ports.
Note: Do not use mobile data or connect to a different Wi-Fi network, or miwifi.com will not load.
2. Open a browser and go to miwifi.com
Enter http://miwifi.com in the browser’s address bar and press Enter (or tap “Go” on mobile).
Important:
- Do not add “www.” — www.miwifi.com will open Xiaomi’s official website, not the router login page. Also avoid typos like http //miwifi.com, miwife.com, miwaifai.com, etc.
- Do not enter the address in a search engine. Typing it in the search box will only perform a web search instead of accessing the router.
- If miwifi.com doesn’t load, try the router’s default gateway IP: 192.168.31.1. See the guide here: How to Log In to Your Xiaomi Router via 192.168.31.1 on Mobile
3. Enter the admin password
Once the login page appears, enter your Xiaomi router’s admin password. This is the password you set when you first configured the router.
After entering the password, click “Log In” to access the admin panel.
Note: The admin password is different from the Wi-Fi password—don’t confuse them. If you forget it, use the “Forgot Password” option or press the RESET button on the back of the router to restore factory settings.
4. Manage your network settings in the admin panel
Once logged in, you can manage your Xiaomi router, including:
- Changing the network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password
- Blocking unauthorized users
- Configuring parental controls and bandwidth limits
- Updating router firmware to improve network stability
Finally, remember to click “Save” or “Apply” after making changes to ensure your settings take effect.
