192.168.3.1 is the default login IP address used by many Huawei routers. If you type 192.168.3.1 into your browser and get an error like “This site can’t be reached” or the page simply won’t load, it usually means your device isn’t connected to the router properly or the address was typed incorrectly.

How to Fix 192.168.3.1 Not Working

1. Check Your Router Connection

In many cases, the page doesn’t load because your device isn’t actually connected to the Huawei router.

  • If you’re using a phone, make sure your Wi-Fi is connected to your Huawei router and not to another nearby network.
  • If you’re on a computer, make sure the Ethernet cable is plugged into one of the router’s LAN ports, and confirm your computer has received an IP address from the router.

If your device isn’t connected to the router, the login page at 192.168.3.1 simply won’t open.

2. Double-Check the Login Address

Another common reason the page won’t load is a typing error. Here are some of the most frequent mistakes:

  • 192.168.31.1 (extra number, often confused with Xiaomi router login)
  • 192.168.3.l (using the letter “l” instead of the number 1)
  • 192.168.3 (missing the final .1)
  • 192.168.3.1.com (adding “.com” by mistake)
  • www.192.168.3.1 (adding “www.” at the front)
  • https://192.168.3.1.com (wrong protocol plus a wrong suffix)
  • 192.168.3.01 (adding an extra zero)

These versions might look almost right, but they’re actually wrong—and that’s why the page won’t load.

The correct way is simple:

Type http://192.168.3.1 or just 192.168.3.1 into your browser’s address bar, then press Enter or Go.

If there’s already another web address in the bar, clear it out first before typing.

3. Try a Different Browser

If your device is definitely connected and you’ve typed the address correctly but the page still won’t open, try using another browser.

Sometimes cache or compatibility issues with a browser prevent the login page from displaying. Switching to a different one often fixes the problem right away.

Once you can access 192.168.3.1, you’ll be able to log into your Huawei router’s settings page and manage your home network with ease.
