1. Not connected to the correct network
Before accessing 192.168.11.1, make sure your phone or computer is connected to your router’s Wi-Fi or via Ethernet. Buffalo router Wi-Fi names usually showed as Buffalo-G-XXXX or Buffalo-A-XXXX.
If you’re connected to another network (such as a neighbor’s Wi-Fi, a mobile hotspot, or a portable Wi-Fi device), the browser won’t be able to reach your router.
Solution:
Connect to your own router’s network, then try accessing http://192.168.11.1 again.

2. Incorrect IP address input
This is a very common mistake. The correct format is http://192.168.11.1. Always double-check what you typed before hitting Enter.
Common mistakes include:
- 192.168.11.l (using the letter “l” instead of the number 1)
- 192.168.11.1.com (added .com at the end)
- www.192.168.11.1 (added “www” prefix)
- 192.168.l1.1 (letter “l” instead of 1)
- 192 l.168.11.1 (extra “ l” after 192)
- 192.168.1.1 (missing a number)
- http //192.168.11.1 (missing colon after http)
Solution:
Enter the correct IP address. If you want to avoid typing mistakes, you can copy and paste this address into the browser or click here to access it directly.

3. Router’s default IP has been changed
For security reasons, some administrators change the router’s default IP address during initial setup.
If your router’s IP has been changed (for example to 192.168.0.1, 192.168.3.1, or 10.0.0.1), using 192.168.11.1 will definitely no longer open the login page.
Solution:
Find your router’s current gateway — that’s the actual login address. See this guide: How to Check Your Router’s Login Address (Gateway) on a Phone

4. Browser or cache issues
If none of the above applies, the problem could be due to browser cache or compatibility.
Solution:
Clear your browser cache or use incognito/private mode to access http://192.168.11.1. You can also try a different browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari, or even browsers like QQ or UC will work.
