ZTE Admin Login Guide – How to Access Router or Modem Settings

If your home network uses a ZTE-branded optical modem or router, accessing the settings page is actually quite straightforward. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to log in to your ZTE modem/router’s admin panel.

To access the ZTE modem/router settings interface, you first need to know the correct login address, which is typically an IP address. Common login IPs used by ZTE devices include:

192.168.1.1 – Common for home ZTE routers

192.168.0.1 – Used by some customized models

10.10.100.254 – Often used for modems (especially in bridge/router hybrid mode)

1. First, connect your device to the network. You can use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to a LAN port on the modem/router, or you can connect via Wi-Fi using a smartphone or laptop. If the device is brand new, the Wi-Fi name is usually something like ZTE_xxx, and the default password can be found on a label on the back.

2. Once connected, open a web browser and enter the login address you found earlier. The most common ones are:

http://10.10.100.254

Press Enter after typing the address.

3. The browser should now take you to the login screen of the modem/router. Here, you’ll need to enter the administrator username and password. You can try one of the following default combinations:

Username: admin Password: admin

Username: user Password: user

Username: telecomadmin Password: admintelecom

Username: root Password: admin

Tips:

• If you or the ISP changed the login password before, use the custom password instead.
• If you’ve forgotten the password and can’t log in, press and hold the reset button on the device for about 10 seconds to restore factory settings. After rebooting, the default login credentials will work again.

4. After entering the correct credentials, click the “Login” button. If everything is correct, you’ll be taken into the admin interface of your modem or router.
