If you’re using a Tenda router at home and want to change your Wi-Fi password, check connected devices, or adjust other network settings, you’ll need to access the router’s admin panel. On the back label of your Tenda router, you’ll usually see the login address listed as http://tendawifi.com.
This address is the entry point to your Tenda router’s admin panel. Once you log in, you’ll be able to customize all kinds of settings to manage your network.
How to Log In to tendawifi.com
Step 1: Connect to your Tenda Wi-Fi
This is the most important step—and the one many people forget! Your device (phone, laptop, etc.) must be connected to your Tenda router’s Wi-Fi network. If you’re using mobile data or connected to someone else’s Wi-Fi, the login page won’t load.
Tip: For a brand-new router, the default Wi-Fi name (SSID) is usually printed on the label at the bottom of the device, often something like “Tenda_XXXXXX.” In most cases, there is no initial password—just connect directly to this network.
Step 2: Open a browser and enter tendawifi.com
Next, open any browser on your phone or computer—Chrome, Safari, or Edge will all work. In the address bar at the very top, type: http://tendawifi.com
Important:
Don’t type it into Google or Bing search boxes—it must go in the browser’s address bar. If you type it into the search field, you’ll just see search results instead of the login page.
Check the spelling carefully. It’s tendawifi.com (not tendaWi-Fi.cn or tendaWi-Fi.net). Alternatively, you can also try the default IP addresses 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
Step 3: Log in to the Tenda Admin Panel
If entered correctly, you’ll be taken to the login screen, where you’ll need to enter the admin password.
For a new router: On first setup, you’ll be prompted to create a new admin password. Choose something secure but easy for you to remember.
If already set up: Enter the admin password you created previously.
Once you enter the correct password, click Log In, and you’ll be inside the Tenda router’s admin panel. From here, you can find options such as Wireless Settings or Wi-Fi Settings to change your network name and password. See also: Tenda Router Setup Guide
Troubleshooting & FAQs
1. Can’t access tendawifi.com?
If the page won’t load, first confirm that your device is connected to your Tenda Wi-Fi network. Then double-check the URL in the address bar. Don’t add “www”—just tendawifi.com directly.
If it still doesn’t work, try using the default IP addresses (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1). Clearing your browser cache or switching to another browser may also help.
2. Forgot your password?
Most modern routers include a “Forgot Password” option on the login page—use that if available to reset or recover your admin password.
If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to reset the router to factory settings. To do this, press and hold the “Reset” button (usually a small pinhole on the back) for about 10 seconds. After the reset, the router will restore its default settings, and you can set a new admin password during setup.
