Here’s a simple, beginner-friendly method—no computer needed:
1. Connect Your Phone to the Router’s Wi-Fi
This is the most important step. You can only reach the router web interface if your phone is connected to that specific router’s Wi-Fi network.
If your phone is using mobile data or a different Wi-Fi network, http://192.168.1.1 will not open.
For example, if your router’s Wi-Fi name is jingle_5.1, connect to that network.

2. Open a Web Browser (Use the Default Browser Recommended)
Don’t enter the address in apps like Whatsapp or TikTok.
Instead, open your phone’s built-in browser—such as Safari, Bing Browser, or Chrome.

3. Type the Login Address: http://192.168.1.1
Enter it directly into the browser’s address bar (usually at the top, or at the bottom for Safari on iPhone), not into a search box.
Double-check it’s correct, then tap “Go” or “Enter.”

4. Enter the Login Username and Password
Once the login window appears, you’ve successfully reached the router’s admin page.
The default username and password are often admin / admin or admin / 1234. You can also check the label on the back of your router for the exact info.
If you changed the password before, enter your custom one.

5. Manage Your Router Settings
After logging in, you’ll see options like “Wireless Settings,” “Wi-Fi Password,” and “Device Management.”
You can change your password, hide your Wi-Fi network, or check which devices are connected—all from this panel.
