Buffalo AirStation – Admin Login and Passwords

Buffalo is a well-known Japanese networking brand, and AirStation is their line of wireless routers. Whether you have a WSR, WXR, or WHR model, all Buffalo AirStation routers can be accessed in the same way to view or change network settings.

For most Buffalo routers, the default login address is 192.168.11.1.

Just connect your phone or computer to the router’s Wi-Fi network, then open a browser and enter that login address in the URL bar — it will take you straight to the login page.

Some models also allow access through a domain name: http://airstation.buffalo.jp.

When you visit that link while connected to your router, it will automatically redirect you to the admin panel as http://192.168.11.1.

Follow these steps to log in to your Buffalo AirStation router:

• Connect your phone or computer to your Buffalo router’s Wi-Fi network — it’ll look something like “Buffalo-G-XXXX” or “Buffalo-A-XXXX”.
• Open your web browser and enter http://192.168.11.1 or http://airstation.buffalo.jp in the address bar, then press Enter.
• After a few seconds, the Buffalo AirStation login screen should appear.
• When the login screen shows up, enter your admin username and password. If you’ve never changed them, try one of the default combinations listed below.

Once logged in, you’ll have access to all the key settings — from Wi-Fi name and password to advanced network and security options.

If none of these work, check the sticker on the bottom or back of your router — it usually lists your device’s “IP Address,” “Username,” and “Password.”

If you’ve already changed the admin password, use the one you created.

Forgot your admin password?

If you changed your admin password but now forget it, press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for about 10 seconds to restore the factory settings.

After resetting, the login page will return to the default address 192.168.11.1, and the username and password will revert to their original default values.

Once that’s done, you can log in again using the default credentials.
