Just like 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1, 10.0.0.1 is also a private IP address used to access the admin interface of local network devices.
10.0.0.1 usually serves as the default gateway for many routers including Piso Wi-Fi, Xfinity Comcast, and Cisco.
In this article, I will tell you how to successfully log into your router settings page via 10.0.0.1!
How to log into 10.0.0.1?
1. First, connect your phone or computer to the router. You can either connect via Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable to plug into the router’s LAN port.
2. Second, confirm whether the router’s gateway (login admin address) is 10.0.0.1. You can check the label on the back of the router — it usually shows “Default Access,” “Login IP,” or “Admin IP.” If you're using a computer, press Win+R, type cmd, then enter ipconfig and look for the “Default Gateway.” If you're using a phone, check the router IP address in the Wi-Fi details. This will show you the latest gateway of the router.
3. Open Chrome, Safari, Edge, Baidu, or any another browser, and type 10.0.0.1 in the address bar, then click “Go” or “Enter.”
4. When the login window appears, enter the correct username and password to access the router’s settings interface where you can configure or modify your router settings.
Note
1. If you haven’t changed the default login address and password, you can log in using the info on the router label. If you have changed them, use the credentials you set.
2. If you can’t log in, try resetting the router by holding the Reset button for 5–10 seconds, then log in again using the default credentials.
