Tenda Admin & Wi-Fi Password – How to Find and Change It

Many people using Tenda routers often run into the same question—“What’s the password?”

In fact, when talking about a router’s “password,” there are usually two different ones: the password for router admin login and the password for Wi-Fi connection.

Router Login Password

This is the password used to access the Tenda router’s admin interface.

Tenda router default login information:

Default login address: Usually http://192.168.0.1 or http://tendawifi.com

Default username: Most Tenda routers do not require a username

Default login password:

• Older models: admin (for most old models)
• Newer models: You’ll be prompted to set your own login password during first-time setup

Wi-Fi Password

The Wi-Fi password is usually printed on a label at the bottom of the router (marked as “Wi-Fi Key” or “Wireless Password”).

If you or someone else has changed the Wi-Fi password, you can log in to the router’s admin panel to view or reset it.

Tip: If you’re already connected to the network but don’t know the Wi-Fi password, you can view the saved password on a connected phone or computer.

To change your Wi-Fi password:

• Connect your phone or computer to the Tenda router’s Wi-Fi.
• Open a browser and enter the login address: http://192.168.0.1 or http://tendawifi.com.
• Enter the login password to access the router’s admin panel.
• Go to the “Wireless Settings” or “Wi-Fi Settings” menu.
• Change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
• Save the settings to apply changes.

To change your admin login password:

• Connect your phone or computer to the Tenda router’s Wi-Fi.
• Open a browser and enter the login address: http://192.168.0.1 or http://tendawifi.com.
• Enter the login password to access the router’s admin panel.
