Note:

• The router as a secondary router does not currently support setting up children's Internet protection through the Smart Life App under Wi-Fi relay, Zhilian, or bridging.

• When the router is cascaded with a Huawei router or a third-party router with the Zhilian switch turned off through a network cable to do secondary routing (ie, the WAN port of the secondary routing is connected to the LAN port of the upstream routing), it supports the setting of children's Internet protection.

• Up to 16 child protection devices can be added to a single router.

• Does not support children's Internet protection restrictions on TVs and set-top boxes.

1. Connect the phone/tablet to the router's Wi-Fi.

2. Open the Smart Life App and log in to the HUAWEI ID that is bound to the router.

The installation of App A is currently prohibited. If you enable My Customization and allow App A to be installed, the protected device will allow App A to be installed.

•“One-click disconnection”, “Allow all”, and “Custom” are the rules that take effect temporarily on the day. After 24:00 on the day, the rule will revert to its initial state.

•After one-click disconnection, the device cannot access the network, but the router will not block the access of the device, that is, the device is still online.

1. One-key disconnection: Supports settings for protected devices: disconnection immediately, disconnection after 10 minutes, disconnection after 30 minutes, disconnection after 1 hour. Click one-key disconnection and set it in the drop-down option box.

2. Allow all: After opening, the protected device will not be restricted by other rules, and the Internet will be resumed immediately. Click Allow All to take effect.

3. My custom: You can temporarily control some applications to connect to the network in custom mode. Click My Custom , tick the application as needed in the list of allowed applications and click Open to save.

•My custom mode can only manage all apps in the custom app list, but cannot manage apps that are not in the list. After the custom mode is turned on, only the selected apps are allowed to connect to the network, and the apps that are not checked in the list will not be able to be used normally.

•All apps in the list of my custom details page will be updated regularly according to the mainstream apps in the current market. If the app you want to manage is not in the list, you can click the app not found at the top right of the corresponding page and enter the app name Then click OK. The default game/video/social/payment/installed application switch is turned on, and all applications in the game/video/social/payment/installed application application list can connect to the network. You can click the switch to turn off the game/video/social/payment/installation functions. After the switch is turned off, all the applications in the corresponding application list cannot connect to the network. You can also click to enter the details page, uncheck or re-check the application in the application list as needed, and click the "√" in the upper right corner to save.

After the switch is turned on, only the selected applications are allowed to connect to the network, and the unchecked applications will not be able to connect to the network;

The game/video/social/pay/install application switch is equivalent to controlling the main switch. Even if only some applications are checked in the application list, after the switch is turned off, all applications in the application list cannot connect to the network.

You can also enable the green WeChat mode on the social interface. After enabling, WeChat mini-programs, mini-games, video accounts, payments, etc. will be subject to some protection restrictions.

•When Alipay or Huawei Wallet payment is prohibited, the use of the entire application of Alipay or Huawei Wallet will be prohibited.

•When QQ wallet payment is prohibited, all payment behaviors will be prohibited, and the use of other functions will not be restricted.

•When WeChat payment is prohibited (red envelopes and transfers are not restricted), if it is detected that there is still WeChat payment behavior (for example: recharging game currency, etc.), WeChat will not be able to communicate for 10 minutes.

•Game/video/social/payment/installation applications can restrict which applications can be restricted, depending on the router model, router version, App version and many other factors, please refer to the actual operation interface. If the application you want to manage is not in the list, you can click I want feedback at the bottom of the corresponding page, enter the application name and click OK. The URL blacklist mode in the "Children's Internet" function is disabled by default. After it is enabled, the URLs in the blacklist will not be able to access the Internet. You can add blacklist URLs to block unwanted websites as needed. A single device attached to the router supports adding up to 64 websites.

For the device, click the switch button to enable the URL blacklist function, and then click the area around the button to enter the details page.

Click to add a blacklist URL at the bottom, enter the URL and click OK, the setting is successful.

After URL blacklist URL is added successfully, it will be displayed in the blacklist list. If you want to delete it, click Delete on the right side of the URL. At the same time, this function can also limit the search engines in the browser, including: Baidu, Google, Sogou, 360 search and other mainstream search engines. As shown:

You can set the maximum time for the protected device to surf the Internet every day, after which the device will not be able to access the Internet. Click Settings after "Duration Period Settings", set the time period and Internet access time, and click OK.

•The Internet time is only valid during the Internet time. For example: if the Internet time period is not set, and only the maximum Internet access time of the protected device is set to 6 hours on Monday, the device will not be able to continue to access the Internet after 6 hours of Internet access throughout the day on Monday; if the maximum Internet access time on Monday is set to 6 hours, and only If the 8:00-23:00 time period is allowed to access the Internet, the device can only access the Internet for a maximum of 6 hours during the 8:00-23:00 time period on Monday.

•The period of Internet access time needs to be set separately, and the time that is not set is not limited by default. For example: only set the maximum Internet access time to 6 hours on Monday, then the rest of the time except Monday can be used to access the Internet by default.

The time spent on the Internet is mainly based on the current traffic. For example, if you watch a video with a duration of 1 hour and the actual video buffering time is 10 minutes, the online time will only be counted as 10 minutes (video playback will not generate traffic).

•"Allow All" and "Custom" mode have the highest priority. After setting the Internet access time, if "Allow All" and "Custom" mode are turned on, the Internet access time will also be generated, and even if the Internet access time has been used up, it will be affected by the Internet access time. The protected device can still continue to surf the web. Therefore, the time spent online on that day may exceed the allowed time online.

•When the Internet access time of the device times out, the device cannot access the network, but the router will not block the access of the device, that is, the device is still online.

•The current App interface generally supports 16 settings for the duration of Internet access.

•Click Allow Internet Time Periods > Go to Settings > Add Time Periods to edit Internet Time Periods.

•Press and hold the time period you want to delete, and click Delete to delete the set Internet time period.

•If the Internet access time period is set, only the set time period can access the Internet, and the time period that is not set will not be able to access the Internet.

•When the device is outside the Internet access period, the device cannot access the network, but the router will not block the access of the device, that is, the device is still online.

•The current App interface generally supports 16 Internet time period settings.

•The time spent on the Internet is mainly based on the current traffic statistics, and the statistical data may be different from the actual use time (for example: if you watch a video with a duration of 1 hour, the actual video buffer time is 10 minutes, then the Internet time will only be counted. for 10 minutes).

•Some applications still generate traffic after entering the background, and will also be included in the usage time statistics. Therefore, the duration statistics may be greater than the actual usage duration.
