192.168.1.2 is not a commonly used router admin address. Most home routers still use 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 as the default login IP. The address 192.168.1.2 is only used in certain situations—for example, when some Xiaomi, Tenda, or Phicomm routers are configured as secondary (sub) routers, or when the router’s LAN IP has been manually changed.
Therefore, before trying to log in, it’s very important to confirm whether your router’s actual login IP address is 192.168.1.2.
Check Your Router Login IP Before Logging In
1. Connect your phone to the router’s Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Wi-Fi details page and look for Gateway or Router. The IP address shown there is the router’s actual admin login address.
If the address displayed is 192.168.1.2, you can use it directly to log in. If it shows 192.168.0.1 or another IP address, you should use that address instead to access the router’s admin page.

How to Log In to 192.168.1.2 on Your Phone
1. Connect your phone to this router’s Wi-Fi network. Do not use mobile data.
2. Open a web browser on your phone, enter http://192.168.1.2 in the address bar, and tap Enter.
Important: Make sure the IP address is entered correctly. If you type 192.1681.2, 192.168.l.2, http //192.168.1.2, or any other incorrect format, the login page will not open.
3. When the page loads, you will see the router login screen asking for the administrator password. This password is usually printed on the label at the bottom of the router and may be labeled as Login Password, Admin Password, or Default Access Password. Alternatively, enter the password you previously set.
4. If this is a new router and the internet has not been set up yet, you will usually be guided to an initial setup wizard after logging in. You must complete the broadband or internet connection settings before you can access the full admin interface.
5. If the router has already been configured and the internet is working properly, entering the correct administrator password will take you directly to the router’s management dashboard, where you can adjust various settings.
