Step 1: Identify Your Router Brand
There are many router brands on the market—TP-LINK, Xiaomi, Huawei, Tenda, ASUS, Netgear, and more. Each brand has different default login addresses, usernames, and passwords.
So the first thing to do is check what brand of router you have. You can usually find this info on the packaging, sticker on the device, or in the app interface.
Step 2: Find the Login IP and Admin Info
Most routers have a sticker with the default login details printed on the back or bottom. Below is a list of default login info for major brands:
TP-LINK
Default Access: 192.168.1.1 or tplogin.cn
Default Username/Password: Usually admin/admin. Some newer models don’t have a default password—you’ll need to set one during initial setup.

Huawei
Default Access: 192.168.3.1 or 192.168.1.1
Default Username: admin
Default Password: Admin@huawei or admin (case-sensitive)
Xiaomi
Default Access: 192.168.31.1
Default Password: None by default—you'll need to set one the first time you log in
Tenda
Default Access: 192.168.0.1 or tendawifi.com
Default Username/Password: admin/admin (some versions may not have a default password)
D-Link
Default Access: 192.168.0.1
Default Username: admin
Default Password: (leave blank)
Netgear
Default Access: 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1
Default Username/Password: admin/password
ASUS
Login Address: 192.168.1.1
Default Username/Password: admin/admin
360
Default Access: luyou360.cn or 192.168.0.1
Default Password: No password by default—uses Wi-Fi password for verification at first login
Netcore
Default Access: 192.168.1.1 or leike.cc
Default Username/Password: admin/admin
Note: If you’ve previously changed your router’s login address, username, or password, the default info won’t work. You’ll need to use your custom login details.
How to Check the Latest Router Login Address
On a phone:
Connect to the router’s Wi-Fi, go to Settings → Wi-Fi details (tap the ⓘ or long-press your network) → look for “Gateway” or “Router” (e.g., 192.168.1.1)
On a computer:
Windows: Press Win+R, type cmd → type ipconfig → look for “Default Gateway”
macOS: Open Terminal and type netstat -nr | grep default → look for the gateway IP
Step 3: How to Access the Router Settings Page
- Connect your phone or computer to the router’s Wi-Fi. Don’t use mobile data or another network!
- Open a browser and type in the router’s login IP (e.g., 192.168.1.1), then press enter.
- On the login page, enter the correct username and password. You’ll then be taken to the router’s admin panel where you can configure settings.
