If you want to change your Huawei router's Wi-Fi password, using the HUAWEI AI Life app on your phone is a convenient option. You don't need to open a browser and enter the router's login address, 192.168.3.1. As long as your router has already been added to the AI Life app, you can open the app, access the router settings, and change the Wi-Fi name and password directly from your phone.
How to Change Your Huawei Router Wi-Fi Password Using the AI Life App
1. First, connect your phone to your Huawei router's Wi-Fi. Then open the HUAWEI AI Life app and sign in with your Huawei ID. If you haven't installed the app yet, scan the QR code below to download and install it, then sign in and add your Huawei router to the app.
2. Open the AI Life app, find the Huawei router you want to manage on the home home screen and tap it to open its management page.
3. On the Huawei router management page, go to Show more → Wi-Fi management → Wi-Fi settings.
Note: The menu path may vary slightly depending on the app or router version. If you don't see these options, go to Network → Wi-Fi management → Wi-Fi settings from the router management page.
4. On the Wi-Fi settings page, you'll see the current Wi-Fi name and password. Tap the corresponding fields and enter the new Wi-Fi name and password. Then tap the check mark (√) in the top-right corner to save your changes.
