192.168.1.1 is a common router management IP address used on home networks. Many routers, such as TP-Link, Linksys, and NETGEAR, use this address as their router login address.
Many users now prefer to manage their router network from a phone. You can simply open the 192.168.1.1 settings page on your phone to change your Wi-Fi password and other settings. Here's how to access the 192.168.1.1 router login page on your phone.
How to Log In to 192.168.1.1 on Your Phone
1. First, open your phone's Settings and find WLAN or Wi-Fi. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect your phone to the router you want to manage. Make sure your phone is connected to this router's Wi-Fi. Do not use mobile data or connect to another Wi-Fi network.
2. Launch a web browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the URL address bar. Then tap Go or the arrow（→） button to open the page. Make sure you enter the address in the URL bar, not the search box. Using the search box will perform a web search instead of opening the router's local management page.
3. If 192.168.1.1 loads properly, the router's login screen will appear. Most modern Wi-Fi routers simply require you to enter your admin password and click "Login" to access the settings page.
Note: If you are setting up the router for the first time, you may be asked to create an admin password instead of logging in. Follow the instructions on your phone to create and save a new password, then continue to the router's settings page.
Can't Access the 192.168.1.1 Login Page on Your Phone?
If the 192.168.1.1 router login page does not appear after you enter the address, first check that your phone is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Turn off mobile data and try accessing the address again.
If it still won't open, your router may be using a different management address. Check the Wi-Fi details on your phone and look for the Router or Gateway address. 4. After logging in successfully, you will see the router's management interface. If you want to change your Wi-Fi password, look for Wireless or Wi-Fi Settings. Open the settings and change the Wi-Fi name and password for either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band, then tap "Save" to apply the changes.
